The Time I Met Jonathan Schneider

This dude is tall, very tall.  He’s also really cool.  I spoke with him for a few moments about how much I loved Smallville and how they shouldn’t have killed his character off.  He agreed and thanked me.  I was then got to attend his panel and proceeded to ask him what his favorite character was as an actor.  Apparently it was a corrupt gay senator in Dirty Sexy Money.  Basically the complete opposite Jonathan Kent and Bo Duke.

The Time I Met Aaron Douglas

This dude is pretty cool.  He was running his own autograph booth at the 2008 Wizards of the Coast Big Apple Con because his agent or escort or whatever wasn’t there.  Being a big Battlestar Galactica fan, I was a bit nervous but I approached him and told him I was a fan and really enjoyed the show.  His very first comment to me was “Thank you. What’s your name?” How many times in life do we meet people and not think to ask their name.  This was likely going to be the only meeting I’d have with Aaron Douglas and he made it a very personal experience.

There is noway this dude's a cylon!

The Time I Met Kevin Smith

I know this website has a lot of bad opinions about Kevin Smith but the one positive thing we can say is that he’s really nice in person.  On two separate New York Comic Con occasions I bumped into him.  The first time he was walking by with a full entourage and I proceeded to tell him how Conan O’Brien was cooler than Jay Leno.  He didn’t quite hear me so he took the time to stop and listen, all the while his entourage was rushing him along.  When I restated my claim he exclaimed “Really!” I replied “Yeah.”  He rolled his eyes playfully and went about his business.  Some might see this as a bit douchey but he was genuinely being cool about the entire interaction.

The second meeting with him was as he was doing a meet and greet with his fans.  I stumbled onto the tale end of the photo session.  His entourage was again rushing him out the door and he insisted on staying and talking and getting pictures with anyone and everyone who was there.  He would not leave until everyone who wanted to, had the opportunity to talk with him.  I also passed him off a DVD with a trailer for Dumped.  He graciously accepted it.  Who knows if he watched it, but he was very nice during the entire interaction.
