Episode 54
Zatanna
An unlikely comic crossover, we’re introduced to Zatanna, an illusionist at this point in the DCAU. She becomes a full blown magic girl in Justice League Unlimited but without any explanation. While under the alias John Smith, Batman trained with Zatanna’s father Zatara to learn the secrets of being an escape artist. This occurs before he travels to Japan to train in martial arts. During that time he has a tryst with Zatanna. She’s now an adult and doing a show in Gotham.
During the show she makes a bunch of money disappear but can’t make it reappear. She’s been framed by Montague Kane though. Batman helps her figure it out and clear her name.
A great episode that gives more insight into Batman’s backstory and how he became such a versatile crime fighter. Also a brilliant build up to what would be the film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm which explores the early days of Batman.

Episode 53
Paging the Crime Doctor
Matthew Thorne is a doctor and Rupert Thorne’s brother. He’s a disgraced doctor who lost his license years ago and now works as a mob doctor for Thorne’s gang. Rupert needs a serious surgery but Matthew isn’t qualified to do it. So he kidnaps Dr Leslie Thompkins which puts Batman on the case.
While investigating the missing Doctor, Batman learns Matthew Thorne was friends with Bruce Wayne’s parents. Meanwhile Rupert Thorne orders Leslie Thompkins killed after the surgery is completed. Matthew Thorne finds out and will have none of it. He helps her escape. Batman shows up and saves the day.
The most touching part of the episode is when Bruce Wayne offers to help Matthew Thorne with his legal troubles on one condition. At which point Matthew Thorne decides he’s not for sale anymore and refuses. Then Wayne explains it’s nothing illegal, he just wants to know about his father. A touching ending to a man who we sometimes forget dresses like a bat and beats up criminals because he lost his parents as a child.

Episode 52
Mudslide
Clayface is back and he’s trying to cure himself by robbing tech from various companies. Clayface is falling apart and will eventually die. He teams up with a former scientist from a film they worked on together. She hopes to find a cure for him. Batman is trying to stop Clayface and offers to help find a cure for his condition. He refuses because if he takes Batman’s offer he’d still have to go to jail. If he cures himself he can blend into the world and be free by pretending to be anyone he wants.
Batman tracks down Clayface’s location, a fight ensue, Clayface destroy himself. He dissipates into the ocean. A tragic ending of sorts. Clayface eventually returns but he’s actually dead at this point. Chemical pollution brings him back to life in a later episode.

We're breaking down some of the 2025 grammy fashion choices and being as cruel as possible.

| Taylor Swift is sporting what we first think is a nice dress. But a closer look reveals just what a huge disaster we're witnessing. Her lopsided thighs, horrible bangs, ugly shoes, also uncomfortable shoes. The corset design screams desperate to look like a slut without actually looking like a slut. The frills are ridiculous, the the dress runs too short. The color is nice and the dress had potential if it was longer. It might have made a nice prom dress with longer bottom. Her bands are terrible. She needs to grow those out. Bangs are always a terrible idea. |

| Will Smith channeling his inner Michal Jackson with a fo-military jacket. Maybe music artist should stop emulating Michal Jackson. He's not a guy you want to emulate. |

| Cardi B lead the costume party trend by dressing as a peacock. The rockabilly hair style didn't help matters. |

| Miley Cyrus, again with bangs, bangs are horrible and people need to stop getting them. Ladies, stop getting bangs. The dress is nice and Miley has the stomach to pull it off. Others couldn't rock this dress but she has the frame for it. She pulls it off verywell. |

| Girl meets world Sabrina Carpenter almost stole the show with a dress that makes you think about Marlyn Monroe. Unfortunately the carpet shah in the mid section is too much. |

| Olivia Rodrigo pulls this dress off because she's smoking hot. If your body type isn't as perfect has hers, this dress is an absolute disaster. It's actually a really ugly dress that is made to look good because of the person wearing it. No dress with all those open slots should hug the hips that high on the waist with all those open slots. Turtle necks are hideous too. |

| Doechi is horrible on every level. The hairstyle is hideous. The dress is an ugly gray suit, a matching ugly tie, and a white button down. She's half in the bag on whether she wanted to dress like a guy but had the suit turned into a dress. Pick a lane next time. |

| Chase Stokes decided to dress like Tony Manero for his costume choice. Let the 70s die with disco. |

| Greenday may be old but they still look cool. They definitely came out looking sharp. Love the choices, all nice and simple. |

Episode 51
The Man Who Killed Batman
Sigh, not all the episode can be awesome. This is one of the not so good ones. The Joker makes an appearance which livens things up but ultimately it’s just an annoying episode. This dude Sid the Squid gets the reputation for killing Batman but Batman actually faked his death to capture the real culprit behind the crime, Rupert Thorne. Batman shows up at the end and everyone goes to jail. Sid the Squid gets props in the criminal world as being the man who almost killed Batman.
